Travels along the Dalmatian Coast – Croatia
I would just sit and drink cappuccinos on the patio of one of the cafe’s I favored that was directly next to where I had seen the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra perform the night before. I remember I had tears in my eyes listening to them play Beethoven’s 5th that night. The smell of fresh produce and lavender filled the streets of Dubrovnik, and surrounded me everyday when I would walk around. I often stopped for a fresh crepe or mozzarella, tomato salad if I was hungry.
I didn’t mind eating alone, because the streets and the beauty were my companion.
